Nicolas De Crecy

The first illustrated monograph of the artist, this work is constructed in 2 parts, each showing a singular aspect of the work of Nicolas de Crécy.
The first part unfolds all of the artist's published work chronologically, from his first work "Foligatto" (Editions Les Humanoïde Associés) in 1991 to his manga "La République du Catch" ( Editions Sh¯ueisha / Casterman released in May 2015. It is richly illustrated with archival documents, sketches, sketches, storyboards as well as the most emblematic plates and drawings from each album. Each book is introduced by a text from the artist in which he explains his creative process and his literary and artistic motivations.
The second part of the book focuses on his graphic work, giving pride of place, theme after theme, to the drawings and paintings that he has been producing for more than 20 years
